We began our day together with 10:30 a.m. outdoor Mass. The weather was perfection, the choir sounded wonderful, and it was such a treat to worship together surrounded by the beauty of God’s natural creation. After Mass, we broke bread together (burgers and dogs), and enjoyed many entertaining diversions. There was something for everyone of any age: Bingo, trivia, an egg toss, arts and crafts, bean bags, soccer, water balloon races, dancing, 50/50s, and most of all, camaraderie.
None of this would have been possible if it weren’t for our hard-working picnic committee: Jackie Barisas, William Benne, Jean Klacik, Christine Kristin, Matt Martinez, Isaura Pacheco, Nancy Reyes, Jeffrey Rosinia, Janice Summerrise, Dennis Synowiec, Kim Synowiec, Elaine Tyderek, and Judy Wohadlo.
