Knights of Columbus
Lansing Council #3540 of the Knights of Columbus is dedicated to five key areas of service: faith, community, family, youth, and fellowship. Acting on these, the group makes a difference in the parish and the Lansing community as a whole. Some examples include sponsoring Lansing’s Youth with Disabilities Swim Team, hosting the annual Clergy Night, the Tootsie Roll drive, Spelling Bee, family-focused activities, and supporting events within the community. On the national, state, and local level, the Knights of Columbus is active in the political arena, lobbying for laws and positions that uphold the Catholic Church’s positions on public policy and social issues. Under the direction of Grand Knight William Benne, meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 8 p.m. at the K of C Hall in Lansing. Interested in joining?
